It was a pleasure for our Executive Director, Ben Weithman, to catch up with Kentucky Transportation Secretary Jim Gray this week. We’re especially grateful for his involvement in the KRI and KPRCM grant programs, which have helped the Henderson County Riverport invest in critical equipment upgrades that strengthen our operations and capacity.
It was also valuable to hear Secretary Gray’s perspective on the ongoing work related to the I-69 Ohio River Crossing. This project is vital to the future of Henderson County, and we appreciate his continued leadership in moving it forward. The long-term economic benefits for both the port and the community will be significant.
We’re thankful for the partnership and commitment that makes progress like this possible.
